Quando Castelli sviluppò la prima maglia aerodinamica per le corse su strada nel 2006, tutti pensarono che fosse una follia, inclusi alcuni corridori professionisti. All'epoca, l'aerodinamica era solo per i TT. L'abbigliamento performante significava gestione dell'umidità. E si poteva vincere il Tour de France con una maglia larga che era poco più di una maglietta di poliestere con tasche sul retro. Anche i nostri consulenti aerodinamici prevedevano vantaggi limitati, quindi Castelli chiamò la maglia Split Second.

Alla fine, i vantaggi furono sostanziali e rivoluzionarono completamente il look del gruppo dei professionisti. Ora siamo alla settima revisione significativa della maglia e abbiamo riscontrato ancora più vantaggi.
