The boot's opening mechanism has been updated to Dyna-Heel Lock Lite to make the boot lighter, easier, and more accessible to a wider range of players. The ankle-to-heel fit and stability have been improved to accommodate baseliners, who often move laterally.

MIZUNO ENERZY NXT, which offers high energy return, is placed in the heel and underfoot to facilitate translational movement. It is designed to absorb shock from the ground and allow a smooth transfer of weight from heel to toe.

The use of a flat sole and an external support, which widens the bottom of the shoe, promotes a strong rotational movement. The use of CPU on the upper improves external grip and stability. The inner sole of the foot, which tends to wear more, is covered in rubber for greater durability, adapting to the sliding movements of players on the baseline.
